For Now Goodnight

Updated on January 2, 2012

Tonight is a little chilly
The moon doesn't appear the way I like it
It look so misty; unclear

Airplane roaring the sky and train stomping the ground
The sound echoes
Vibrating through the wall and ceiling of my house

Cars chasing the wind
And the breeze creeps through my window
Found no way to escape but kiss the skin of me and bring chills down my spine

Yes, very noisy and cold outside
I hope to find some silence tonight
Tucked in bed, I soundly sleep, drifting off to a dream

(Yawning)

For now, goodnight!

Chanroth, What dazzling, diverse, drowsy observations as your mind cell by cell turns from busy day to restful evening! In particular, I like the justification for sleep -- that the moon has a less favorite look -- and the rationale for fighting it -- busyness outside.

Thank you for sharing the poem and pretty pictures (particularly the last), etc.,
