Poem: For Gods So Love!

Updated on January 11, 2012

Oh Man!

He looked across

the heavens

He said: all these

are my creations

Then in looking

through the

He saw the moon

and the sun

The light had only

just begun

to hit the earth

He saw its beauty

just where he

needed it to be

That space

he he in mind

That space

he saw in time

Where creation's

loneliness was calling

a masterpiece

was being drawn

already begun

taking the shape

Of Man

He is the

Most High God

mankind was in

that future

sitting in the

presence of God.

living and filled

with the life given

to him by God

as he breathe

into man life risen

then he said

let us make man

In our own image

In our own likeness

it's been said already

so let it be done

Placed in the Bible

Genesis the book

1:26 have a look

God said let us

make man in our own

image and likeness

and let them have

dominion over

the fish of the sea,

and over

the fowl of the air,

and over the cattle,

and over

all the earth,

and over every

creeping thing

that creeps upon the earth.

Man was not perfect

The only one

perfect is the

Most High God

Nothing perfect

can die or be

Of course God

knew that man

would be greedy

Would also grow

to be selfish and vile

to be lovers

of themselves

stubborn and not

willing to continue

in the way of God.

By giving thanks

and praises.

But he saw what

happened after

the temptation

He cursed man

by the sweat

of thy brow

thow shall eat bread

How can you grow

to now want more

than your share

living a life

forgetting to care

if you are not

your brothers keeper

then who is?

This earth will then

be destroyed

to create the

perfect life.

No more heartache

no mor pain

we shall be together

Proud and perfect

free of shame.

Never again will God

look to to us and say

Oh Man!

Thank for reading and commenting AEvans . We are supposed to have a belief in something , in a creator , a source, and we are not supposed to stop at anything but that source. But we are human beings , and throughout our lives we have found reasons to rebel and we have never stop since.

So like any parent with their own children who is rebelling, they will do what's best to show love.

      This source is our creator.

      Thanks again .

Yes, God will perfect his people. He loves us in spite of ourselves. Thank you, Sky. You remind me of what is important.

Thanks knottlena, I am so glad you liked it. I am also glad to hear your approval of science , although I took it little further with the apes , but the real truth is we are humans and we are sure of one thing ,God is there.

That for such a nice comment and to hail from Connecticut.

have a great brethren from those parts.

Looking forward to reading some of your work soon.

      Give Thanks.

Very nicely written poem. I especially like the way you intergrated science into our faith. I believe that the two can walk hand in hand.
