Revelations 2012

Updated on August 15, 2011

A Kingdom of Concious

A Powerful King will be Crowned

He will wear his gold crown, above a troubled mind
Reigning from his thrown room, wisdom his design

Baptized into power, with a conflicting pure heart
Innocent childhood memories are now torn apart

War is eminent, all his advisers agree
The armies are assembled, they must fight to stay free

Sleep is elusive as fear grips his mind
Preparing for conflict, the strength he must find

The morning brings new hope, along with dismay
As he envisions the horrors, that will come later that day

The attack trumpets are sounding, it is time to prepare
Adorning his armor, no enemy will he spare

The high priest has been summoned, to offer his blessing
For faith is true strength, his most powerful lesson

While leading his proud steed, with soldiers marching in paces
He observes the look of trust, on his loyal subject’s faces

He has traveled down this path, many times before
Feeling confident in victory and his people secure

He rides into battle, with no second thought
Knowing freedom of choice, his history has taught

The Kingdom of Heaven, he has sworn to protect
And rather lay down his life, than to fail or neglect

He will rule over the kingdom with a mighty, just sword
And the wicked will be crushed beneath his righteous word

From out of the ashes and rubble, a new world order will emerge
And the righteous will live in peace fore ever.

For divine intervention as foretold has finally arrived

For He Is King!

Thank you. It was my first attempt and that positive feedback is very encouraging.

Very enjoyable read...flow and rhythm are excellent, writing vividly descriptive. Great job!
