Poem: For You Mother: Today! video...
For you Mother:
Today!
As my mother
was Speaking
to me on the
phone today!
at one point
she suddenly
said thank you
my son!
She was just
happy that her
son was around
capable, and
availiable
to do whatever
she required.
But immediately
I Said:
No my dear
Mother
Don’t ever
thank me again!
Just only
remember
to say you
love me.
I told her this
Many times before
I was not angry
only in a firm tone
she is my mother
I know here well
she knows me also.
She needed
to be reminded
at 91, what an age.
I needed her
to be sure
that I am quite
happy with
all the work that
was done with me
totally free
of any charges.
Had conditions
been a little
different with me
at this time I
would be at
your side
At this very
moment mother,
That's where
I would stay
Until either one
of us was ready
to move on !
To that which
we firmly believe
I am the one
who needs to
Never forget
That thanking you
is what I am
here to always do,
"thank you mother"
Though we are
all here at this time
without you
I would not have
this identity
in this reality
that I have now
Regardless of
what it may be
to others.
To me it's where
I feel true Love!
I understand this life
I know that I am
actually everyman
But the part
that;s in me
Feels so proud
to have the
assurance
that even though
I am everyman
every-man is
definitely
not truly as
fortunate as me.
for this and more
I love you mother!
I have heard
many people
say these same
words before,
I know that
each one has
their own meaning.
My meaning
to you mother
is quite simple,
Though I am here
and I understand
That I must first
learn to live
where as others
believe they
must live to learn.
You will always
remain the means
Through which
this knowledge
will forever flow
it’s through you
my confirmation
for these lessons
That's how I know.
How can I learn
about my Mothers love,
If you had not
been there
to teach me.
I an your last son,
It is quoted that
the last shall
be come first.
it's not a race
I thank you!
For being there
This is my duty
And I will do it all
Proudly
For your my Mother!
Today!
