Forced Away From Your Heart

Updated on September 24, 2012

Enjoy the poem with this melody...Thanks!

Forced Apart From Your Heart

Though we live in the same city

I cannot stop feeling emotionally disturbed

Parents do not see a future, what a pity

Hearts that melted together now are pulled apart

met you on that roller coaster to the end of times

first kiss softly electrifying with prolific charm

Knowing now that our generation don't look for colors

melting pot that connect all the continents down to those poles

We have to make arrangements to meet half way

between what is set by society, parents and hell

They forced our hearts to be apart

running to you late at night through that boulevard

WIsh I could have more time to show them wrong

deepest feelings from my heart keeping our love afloat

please embrace me once again among these strangers

They don't care, as long as they see us as partners

As you walk away from me and our hearts

I know this love was meant to be from the start

There should be an answer from that shooting star

that is falling on the darkest hour of a hopeless night

I take with me the perfume of your promised land

The softest lips that could ever been granted to this man

suddenly you change your mind and walk back to me

slow motion of a view of your body running across the street

"Don't let this world ever again keep us apart," you say

I just want to comply with what your parents said

"I don't care anymore, we should be together," you add

Then is time to create a world of our own, adding our own fun

getting lost and breaking the rules except our hearts

we have decided to start a new life tonight

we know how to deal with the worst storm

we are moving away from it, from now own

hand in hand, walking into oblivion

heart to heart, we were promised this union

eye to eye, we really know what we want

mind in mind, we'll see tomorrow... our paradise...

Hi Rahul, catching up with you young fellow, we are still young at heart and we can feel the inspiration coming and going. This song helped us to cope! Nice to see you around!

@Roohi Khan, Yep! Pure adrenaline into changing emotions. Love has its up and downs, according to what is behind the scenes.

    makes me nostalgic...

A very well crafted piece I must say my friend

Those years when love is in the air.. and rebellious winds fire the soul..

    Great work

    Hi Christy Writes,

Sure we love our tunes! and... actually we write next to listening to them. Wonderful feeling after a few hours of inspiration. Maybe might be good for our hearts as well.

I like that you wanted readers to listen to the music at the same time, how creative! I like your poem too.

    Hi There AEvans and RHW,

We usually hear the melody and the words come from four corners and laid down in this roller coaster that take us into the air. Speed is not guaranteed. Emotions will increase the momentum and will slow down according to every individual...who can relate with this piece. Thanks ladies!

    Hi Pickles&rufus,

I know what you mean..! I was growing with those 80's melodies that still make me feel like dancing with no worries. Thanks for taking the opportunity of dropping some words... in here.

    Hi Flora Breen,

This song felt so tender, that made our creativity an easier task. You always know about all these songs. Your comments are always welcome!

    Gypsy Rose Lee,

Thanks for those words. There was a time when we didn't care about time and deadlines. I can relate too.

Sigh..? Lol! You always making us smile. You did write some lovely poetry as well. So the compliments are mutual

    Thanks! Lord

Reminds me of youthful lust. Nothing but being together mattered and tomorrow's consequences were not even a though. Really enjoyed!
