Friendship Over (poem)

Updated on March 25, 2011

How could I

have thought you friend?

Today I see things

as they are

and for the first time.

Eyes no longer blind

to who you are.

User and abuser

critical matron to no one

all a lie.

Love for your fellow women

a sick joke

built to amuse

designed to take advantage.

Anger and hate

claim your soul

driven to blame others

for your own mistaken dreams.

I know how you felt. I had that kind of friendship, too. I wish you´re over it now. I mean your anger. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day!
