From Lonely Chair

Updated on July 2, 2013

Once more I write ...

from this lonely chair

wondering if you know

from when, from where

The words doth come ..

they spill like wine...

from grapes smashed down

straight from the vine

Let me fill my glass ...

with your sweet name

trying to find once again...

love's sweet refrain

Read my lonely words ..

please hear my call

from the loneliest room

to the grandest hall

I reach out only to you...

just release my heart

find all the pieces...that you tore apart

Sew them tightly

with loving thread

for without your love ...

I am surely dead

Dearest Michael, I truly do know and understand your generous intentions and I am blessed by your gracious comments towards me.

You deserve all the credit for writing such beautiful poetry and I would want the world to read your work and then you receive the much deserved accolades for your always stunningly beautiful poetry.

I praise Him that you share your gift of writing with all of us here on HP! It is always a pleasure to read the words that pour out of your heart, even though your heart may be broken (I gather from your writing), I know that by writing, it may help in the healing process.

I will pray for you dear heart that you are given the desires of your heart.

      Hugs and love, Faith Reaper

      Hi Dearest Michael,

How about this. . . so that you will receive views here for your lovely poetry you have written, why not just publish it here at some point, and it will not be necessary to indicate it is for me, as I will just know. Thank you for such a thoughtful gesture towards me. I am humbled.

God bless you always, Faith Reaper

James.. ahhh... the questions of lonliness come from within. Glad you inquired though. Love is such a complex emotion.. for you can actually express love to a tiny flower with such beauty that it envelops your soul with admiration, feeling for its tenderness and what it represents in our own life.. hope and mortality of our own expression . As such ...can a person die in someone's heart without dying in reality ..??

Thank you for the visit my friend.

Oh, that really pangs my heart for you, Michael. Yes, I can understand such release through writing and you express yourself so beautifully, even through pain.

Thanks for such lovely comments back in further explanation, which are almost as lovely as your poetry. The only problem . . . there are no buttons to click for beautiful comments.

Oh, I would love a poem! Thank you so much for such generous kindness towards me.

      Hugs and love, Faith Reaper

Faith.. my soul belongs to a woman i can not have.. to tell of what is inside the heart is a release of emotions that lighten my spirit and give wings to my creative thoughts that are yearning to fly with her..

Life holds hostage what we want sometimes and laughs at the foolish meanderings of he who holds hope with a fevered grip, writing words that touch others..but never finding safety in their writings .

Faith would like to send you a poem .. if it is ok?

Aw, loneliness is indeed so very painful, precious heart.

Love this very dramatic piece here as to the yearnings of not having that loved one by one's side.

Dearest Micheal, you are really getting these out here of late, so fast, brilliant and deeply moving. Keep going : )

      Voted up ++++ and sharing

      God bless, Faith Reaper
