Tipi-toed into My Life ........

Updated on October 14, 2013

I only have "EYE" for you..

Hi... my name is " Tipitoes" and even though I only have one eye...It's only for YOU....
Hi... my name is " Tipitoes" and even though I only have one eye...It's only for YOU.... | Source

Some become animals...while other are animals....

He just showed up one bright Summers' day....

And he instantly took my breathe away....

His body was scarred and he was blind in one eye...

But there was something about him, I just couldn't deny....

So self assured, you could tell by his sway....

Like it had been destiny that had brought him my way...

He was serene and did not care to cause a scene...

Unlike the man in my life who had become cruel and very mean....

He made such a horrible fuss ....and made me cry...

That there were days when I just wanted to die !

The new man had purpose and showed devotion...

The other lacked empathy and showed no emotion...

The man I had trusted decided to stray....

While the new man in my life decided to stay.....

Now I don’t want to leave you with the wrong impression....

And it was by no means my intention....

For the two legged man to run away....

While my four legged man with a tail chose to stay....

The four legged will live with you on your worst times while the two legged will often go astray.

Yup, those four legged, furry, purring felines do stay loyal (well unless it is mating season). :) :) :)

cherylone....no mating season problems here.. Totally loyal....

He had already lost one eye and part of his ear when he came into our lives....which is why when he went to the Vet for repairs , he got a bit more ( or less ) than he bargained for... he now has a bit of a lift in his walk... thanks for commenting...and enjoyed

Only those of us who have pets will understand just how important they are to us. Many people may say their pets are part of the family, but in our house, they *are* family. :-)

Shona Venter....Said so right ! I have found pets give " unconditional love".. unlike humans, and sometimes that's enough to be thankful for..

Thanks for the visit and comment..
