From Here (poem)

Updated on February 25, 2017

From here let’s see if you might be with me

And for our while to challenge come what may

To turn this chance into a special day

And from our dreams create a memory

-

From here what cares still dare to bar our way

Excuses offer less than what might be

Another realm no telling what we’ll see

But for this while we’ll put our cares away

-

What madness murmurs blindness to your heart

What hidden harm awakens from your past

What turns my outstretched hand to something vile

-

From here is there a reason we’re apart

Or do we see a chance that may not last

That we might be together for a while

Beautiful. Contemplation of life... from here. Love it!
