I just thought of you Lord
as i end up another day.
Dwindling thoughts of yesterday...
Things are not as good
as everyone hoped to be.
As people struggle on in each and every day's life
Too complicated.
Hopes are fairly good,
Faith is soaring high....
Tears comes rolling by.
Family seems divided,
hurtful words pains deep inside.
Walk up the streets and see Poverty all around...
Innocent kids are everywhere,
dirty and hungry...but what can we do?
Bless us oh God, for you can only do so.
I know your path has not been easy
when you walked your way towards Calvary.
Sufferings and pains are part of our struggles,
But let thy not walk in fear...
Let not faith and hope disappear.
As i lay me down to sleep tonight
May your love and spirit fill my night,
To lift me up and guide me right.
God, thank you indeed
