Garden Dance

Updated on March 5, 2012

Watchful eyes

The gods. They see.
The way she moves
hush, and do not breathe,
as they watch
in curious wonder.

Her each step, careful,
taken on a twilight breeze,
graceful and flowing
like a river
never looking back
Her eyes
wide and curious
embrace her fear
and moving
forever forward

It is the way
the moonlight caresses
her perfect flesh.
why they cannot breathe
Watching, her lover's touch
Born of the silky night
reflecting a future life.
His lips color
against hers
pour into her
a fathomless love.
within they blossom
her body rises
hold close this endless life.
She drinks deep his kiss:
his firestorm, his
spark, his touch

a deeper commitment.
The moment renews
vows of passion;
as his eyes dines
on her beauty,
she feasts on his love:
A love pure and honest
of wonderment, of anticipation
and in the flesh.

As his lips draw away
the fog fades.
How did he find
such perfection?
In destiny’s palm?
Here is a dance
of sweet melody
purity in song
regardless of the envies
of all the gods

Deeper than immortality
is their love.
Entangled in limbs,
Eternity entraps them
in a glass of endless time.

A blissful moment
engraving upon their hearts,
never to be forgotten,
of the soul they shared.
