Garden Of A Dream (poem)

Updated on September 6, 2014

Where is that spring which used to quench my thirst

Amid a secret garden of a dream

Where every scent of love seemed well rehearsed

Such music was then flowing from this stream

Where is that moment not so long ago

When gentle trees brought shade from every care

Such promises the breeze would come to know

While lovers’ hearts brought meaning to this air

It’s hard so hard to wander through a world

With thoughts a thirst a teardrop left behind

And all of my tomorrows come unfurled

Another dreamless night I am resigned

Where is that spring its promise I must keep

She’s here beside me drifting in a sleep
