Gates of Tomorrow (poem)

Updated on September 5, 2014

Tomorrow the sun will greet a new day

Somewhere a flower will still kiss the dew

And there will be lovers for stars to view

The paths to romance will not go away

And songs of the heart will draw kiss or two

While warm welcome smiles will cause them to stray

Long will be playgrounds for lovers to play

But for this moment there is only you

So please take my hand this treasure in time

To fashion a dream of how it should be

We’ll dance by the sighs which wishes are of

The gates of tomorrows our legend will climb

Till love which we lived is their fantasy

And in the twilight stars whisper a love
