Gem Of Precious Promises (poem)

Updated on February 27, 2014

What is this gem which echoes morning’s light

And seasons every scent both far any wide

Enchantment wonder splendor wouldn’t subside

As long as ever holds this gift in sight

-

Such streams of beauty has this heaven’s guide

One ponders pleasures fantasies ignite

What world of dreams is waiting there in sight

What magic is there waiting to be tried

-

Are eyes oft blinded playing trick on me

Has my imagination crafted mist

Is sleep now granting fairytales come true

-

Still there is glow as bright as all can be

My heart and soul feels call they can’t resist

For gem of precious promises is you

Passionate poem, sensual song, and 'magical wonders' make this

a winning combination "as long as ever holds this gift in sight".

      Outstanding work, Martin.
