Gives & Grows

Updated on February 17, 2017

precise splendor came first
a new rose obliged to awaken
creation gradually designed spring
straight out-of-the gate
truth dismounted disbelief
the first pale of darkness
raised from the project by himself
pressing fingers to the bone
days in the shop banging metal
at least one will will never end life
a being who possess hope
a semblance of yourself
so think not of individuality
but of soul full experiences
believe you will remain instinctive
merging recent plans
with past experiences
stroked by whispering shadows
just a guest living between
plants & sky

You are a wonderful poet. You know how to emote with your words in a way we, the readers, can feel them deeply. Beautiful.

I agree with Dream On. This poem is my favorite with it's beautiful descriptive words. It speaks to me. Thank you.

Out of all your poems I like this one the best so far. It reminds me of man and nature both doing our thing. Life continuing in it's splendid fashion. Keep teasing us with your words. Interesting and challenging as each day is. Thank you for taking the time to write this.
