God Is Not A Puppeter.

Updated on January 21, 2012

God Is Not A Puppeteer

God is not a puppeteer,
our strings are
cut at birth,
the umbilical cords
that feed our needs
and guide our growth
are severed clean,
then we are on our own.

He gives us the freewill
to dance in his grace,
or wallow in the shadows of evil.,
He did not intend us
to be robots,
but he holds us each accountable
for our performances.
His applause is our blessings,
his critiques are our guilt, and his displeasure
can mean curtains for any and all,
but he is not our puppeteer...
we control our brief appearences
on the stages of life.
