Goodbye, Goodbye to All

Updated on June 8, 2014

Terry Jacks Seasons in the Sun

Goodbye My Trusted Friends

Goodbye, Goodbye to all my friends

Fear not for me, this is my destiny; and not my end

I truly need no sympathy, for my heart

It sings unto thee, whom now I see once again

No more will anyone; be skinned alive

Oh no this was not meant for us; this is why He died

Just for Us !

You must trust in this; do not be re-missed

No more descending without cause

This here life was not a bust, it was just; a pause

For ploy after ploy have all of these

The fields became all unploughed

Unbending trees; rooted deep within

That old wretched one, once again

Who was filled with such a treacherous, sea

They all set now on, their bended knee

Satan’s Army running everywhere

No escape for any tare!

Goodbye all my trusted friends

Oh yes this is the end

Of this here Time; It was he; that “It” began

And now this will be; his final end

My friend hear the trumpets sound

Point your face unto the ground

No need to turn around

Let us all dawn our golden crowns

Confess, Confess with all your might

While all the seals are yet broken; give one last little token

For all those seasons in the sun

Now look up, do not run; here comes our Son

As all the vials are poured; unto this dirty sore

Stay bowed unto the floor! Watch out for the flaming sword

As demons hit the ground

And all the others are unbound

Please do not wear a silent frown

This is no longer; our holy ground

This here and now; It is, at an end

Of this Satan’s war; which he had began

Merry minstrels; sing no more

As the Angels do their wanted chores

Reaping up all that what was ever sown

The golden wheat without tares or thrones

Steaming all of these, with their angelic sweat

Teaming with running blood; up unto the horses neck

Bound and chained unto his gate; Hell

For this one here it is too late!

It saddens me to see todays would be preacher or teacher, they have stopped teaching the truth!

To play unto the itchy ears and for the beggers bag of fools gold. It is true one must stand upon certain ground, if not they soon become a clown and never, ever will they recieve the robe or crown. There is much work to be done and it needs be done by every one! For Judgement begins at the pulpet!

As to given up. It is no more then a sin and the last day. Has not yet, begun and the work is decided by only One! Never Give Up! Never Surender! Always Remember! Whom is standing at your side.

Believe me, I know where you may be coming from and I know where everyone is bound to end up! According to their Works and unto their Faith these Two are One! They go Hand in Hand before the Judgement Seat of Our Father God in Heaven.

      NOTE: Most Important!!!

Know the two become three, there at the Seat of Judgement or they do not!

Do You Believe In Jesus the Christ and Saviour of OUR World!

      It matters Not!

      Does He, Believe In You!

Thanks for the read and the comment.

What a wonderful poem Sinbadsailorman. Thank you. Lately I've been thinking about how the enemy complicates and frustrates our daily lives, sometimes to the point where I want to give up, not because I don't believe in God, because I do! But it looks like even the simplest things are not possible to do! I'll keep moving forward, of course, but thanks for writing about the difficulties of life.
