Graduated Girl in bad times

Updated on November 11, 2012

A graduated girl

wipes perspiration

on her sleeve.

Serving costumers

in a dilapited resturant

It s not a job

she dreams of

or a place

she has ever tended to seek

Only fear of hunger

and a sudden strike of drought

clogged in the throat

trigger her to sustain

and continue labour

without letting loose

a heavy sigh

or a slight moan.

World wide in tatters.

In God We Trust plummets

Red spots swell up the globe

like warts on a beautiful female body.

Chaos seductive flame

invites moths and staccato waves.

Black clouds cast shadows

over Liberty,Big Ben,Eiffel

This is a bad movie

A Chinese quality

How stupidly is to fish Loch Ness Monster

out of season

by a hook

She stops the stream of conscience

When a well-heeled young couple wave

She takes notes

At the same, smiles in pale at an old man

caught in the act chasing her butts.

She scurries to the kitchen

like a daisy blowing gently in the breeze.

The stream swoops again

after shedding its skin and growing a new soft layer

Things will crawl back

again to fit in.

Shining gold will glint in the distance

Sooner or later

I will become a nurse

No matter what it takes

a white slash

or loud pop.

This is how I should spoon-feed

my glint of hope

and hit the broad side of a barn

if I choose not to die of Hunger.

Thanks so much for the warm sweet words.I appreciate that. One should cling to life and live for his own hopes. We might be at the end of the rope but we might tie a knot and hold on it.

I like the graduated girls positive attitude.

What you described happens a lot round the world. Being very well qualified but doing a menial job. I believe that if people do that job heartily and keep positive - they will attract favour, opportunities or their "Destiny helper" - (someone who crosses your path and in a suprising way leads you to an awesome open door) Some times you never meet them again, but remember them forever, sometimes they stay in your life for a while. I really hope I made sense. lol.

Wishing you success with your dreams and aspirations.
