Grandma's Life

Updated on August 8, 2012

Grandma looked down at her new born great grand son,as she held him gently in her feeble arms. She started to grin, A tear filled her eye, It's his time to live soon I will die. She noticed her aging wrinkled hands, her finger still held a wedding band. Memories filled the old ladies mind as she thought of her youth long left behind ,stolen by the hands of time Remembering her wedding day, Seems like only yesterday, A smile, a tear for days gone by. A time to be born a time to die. a time to laugh a time to cry. Like smoke caught up in the wind, Life so quickly comes to its end. So cherish life, Love never hate. Have faith in God.Pray every day. These few words I leave behind. May the life I have lived forever shine.
