Green turns Red!

Updated on January 31, 2015

Turned I henna-eyed

one fine green-dawn

post burning midnight oil

to script the tale

of a hyena and its carrion;

in due course

of lining considerable pages,

the hyena

faded into pathetic insignificance

while its prey

bleached off colourlessly!

      Interesting use of colours and fading in your poetry. I am glad the prey had more power than the hunter in the end.
