Grey Shadow

Updated on April 26, 2012

Gray shadow so cancerous haunts, torment, and torture this little heart of mine

Notice the laughter once stood now vanished instant sight

Baffled, speechless, my chatter mouth spoken no words

Tears crept in a speed of light- the pain as if being buried in a tomb alive

Courageous, strong- how I once always in a battle to win, never lose without a fight

But today, tonight...I lose

Unto my knee I deteriorate slowly; this pain had killed the person in me

Hard to say anything in the Greay Shadow's presence. This poem says it.

A fate that scares everyone. Written with a sympathetic hand. Nice.
