Greying with Love!

Updated on August 19, 2014

When love matures

to ripen

for the harvest season,

this transition

from warmth to coldness

Turns me melancholic

In view of a harsh bondage;

Nevertheless,

Gratitude towards you

Reigns supreme

In lieu of

Any form of dislike;

Recoil I inward,

Physically and mentally,

reflecting

the grayness of the sky -

The only joy being

The Halloween pumpkins

And

The recreation channeling

of new episodes!

      Infinite ways of looking at love phenomenon and such indulgence of a reckless free spirit ! Wonderful, sujaya. A beautiful poem to relish and ponder the way one likes.

      I like the contrast between the feeling of bondage and the spirit of gratitude. Then the joy of the pumpkins completes the cycle. Good work!
