Grief that does not speak

Updated on March 11, 2017

There's no grief
Like the grief that does not speak
This is the story of the meek
In their silence solace they do seek
All is revealed by in their lives a peek
Looking into the life of a transgender Of nature's folly a reminder
For simply no fault of theirs
Of no discrimination and insult they are spared
Disowned by their families by the likes of them they are reared
They are humans too
Human respect to them is due
Gender bias is talked of
Why this third gender is knocked off
They have been mentioned throughout in history
Their existence in our culture is no mystery
Half purush and half istri
They have been symbolized as ardh nareshwar
They took the children like us of the same Parameshwar !!
