Hackleburg Alabama Bulls and Barrels Rodeo was fun
Photos from the Rodeo
The fundraiser for Hackleburg Tornado survivors was a huge success.
I must say that I have never been to a rodeo in quite awhile the last time I went my 1st cousin got threw from a bull and broke his back, but that being said when the southeastern professional rodeo association was good enough to do a fundraiser for the Hackleburg,Alabama tornado victims I felt like I had to go and I am glad I did,it was fun.
The Hackleburg Bulls & Barrels Bash Rodeo was a huge success and fun,not only did the money go to a good cause I must say that rodeos are really exciting. Everyone from the announcers to the rodeo clowns did a excellent job of entertaining everyone, it was just old clean fun.
I loved the bull-riding,I think you have to be a little crazy to ride a bull, but as far as excitement goes bull riding is about as good as it gets.
My dad always said "son bulls are for eating not riding"
I was especially proud of Zac Cochran for the ride he made,I have a video posted of it below,I will apologize about the ending in advance but when that bull came toward me and the fence I had to get out of there. Ha Ha I have never seen a bull rider make a bull stop and that is what Zac did on his ride.
Anyway I would recommend anyone to go to The southern professional rodeo association events, they run a first class rodeo and are very entertaining and seem to be just good people.
They pulled a good clean prank on all the ladies (see video below), even had a guy dress up like Elvis,he made me laugh so hard I almost puked.
Also as a side note I would like to say that Hackleburg has come a long was since it was destroyed by the tornado and I would like to thank everyone for all the hard work they have done in Hackleburg.
I know that they are still a long way from being back to what it was, but I also think they are making headway in rebuilding the town.
