Haiku - Anger

Anger

By

Dr. Darryl Winer

The flashes of fire

Seething and churning inside

Sharp words and actions

Boiling feelings

Recklessly scalding the mind

Rash and imprudent

Uncontrollable

Harsh, tortuous suspicions

Thoughts beyond the pale

Dark deep set eyes peer

With malice and cold intent

From a burdened soul

Real raging anger

Fury obscures our goodness

Man’s brush with evil

Fierce, cold and toothed

Wrath wielded by clouded thought

Anger bites and tears

Blinded and mindless

Lashing out and seeking wound

We are at our worst

Collected thoughts which were obviously written when you were not angry, or the "Wrath wielded by clouded thought" would not have yielded up such unclouded thoughts. Up and awesome.

      Hi Perspycacious-

Right you are. But then you are a haiku old pro. (I've enjoyed many of them.)

Thanks for your kind words. Look forward to you dropping by anytime.
