Haiku Parade

Updated on December 16, 2011

The seconds were split

Like hairs on my head, the birth

Of standing too still

I am packed to ship

Insured, but I still shatter

Return to sender

This band will not play

Nor will it stretch anymore

Elastic music

The rope is too tight

Without breath, I reach inside

Strangled truth bubbles

My fingers wear ash

From extinguishing the flame

Candle wick disguise

Scratches from granite

Remind me of what I broke

And what is broken

Under the wave and

Across the galaxy come

A tidal of space

Braces can fix teeth

Lies that come from behind them

Cannot be altered
