Haiku Poems - My First Attempt

Updated on February 24, 2012

January

Frosty stalactites
Snow crystals whine as I walk
Lungs and cold collide

The Lake

Early morning mist
Familiar loons call at night
Crackling fire warms us

These Haiku were written for "Just Ask Susan's" Childhood Memories Haiku Challenge.

Thanks, Susan. It was a good challenge.

Cyndi10, thanks for the read. It was fun but difficult to make everything fit. I will have to practice with a few more.

Hi Steve, I feel the cold in your haiku. Well done. They're fun to write, aren't they?
