No Thanks, Gallahan (limerick)

Updated on July 27, 2013

No one carpools with Gallahan.

Hitchhiking is a better plan.

Scattered fries on floor.

Cups and trash galore.

He uses car for garbage can.

Aw, you're the best... but you might want to be careful, as you can see, I have a hard time knowing when to shut up... I don't know how to make a long story short and I don't know the meaning of short and sweet... lol.

Now you've got me singing Dionne Warwick and Stevie Wonder... lol!

Thanks Cat, feel free to vent when needed. That's what friends are for.

Well, MOS, I can be a little forgiving of a father with a slightly untidy car, as I imagine yours would be at it's worst... I hope, lol. But no, this turd drives around in a Honda Civic and though it seats 5, my 2 kids and 'dad' are lucky to all have a seat and neither of my kids knows what it's like to have leg room! The only reason dad has leg room is because the only place he hasn't buried is where the gas pedal and the brakes are! Actually, it's quite a frustrating situation... I wonder if my kids are even safe riding in his car. They're 12 and 8! It's not them who's making the mess! lol... Sure, when they were younger, I was apt to have diaper bags and coloring books, toys and maybe some fast food wrappers floating around. Now, my car usually has a couple of Gameboys and an empty Diet Pepsi can floating around... lol.

Um, did I already apologize for venting? Ha ha... trust me, you are very different people! Thank the sweet Lord above, for that!

      HI Cat,

Ive been Gallahan, a time or two myself. Having kids you're bound to have some remnants of McDonalds in your car. Cat I've always loved your humor but how can anyone lose a bowling ball in a car. Does he drive a Ford Heavy Duty van?

      Man of Strength,

I'd like to know how you got a picture of my ex's car? lol.... Actually, this would be an improvement! When he drops the kids back off to me, my driveway looks like McDonald's exploded... lol. He lost a bowling ball in there... he still can't find it! How do you lose a bowling ball in your car? lol.... Okay, my therapy session is through, thank you :D

Up and others ~ Sharing too!

Now, you are my man of comedic strength and as often in comedy or satire (George Carlin/Richard Pryor were good examples) the truth is told through humor as we see the reflection of ourselves in the mirror.

Good morning from lake erie time 9:50am with first cup of coffee, the gloriou sunshine and J.S. Bach piano music.
