Peace in happiness

“Happiness is love bubbling forth into the newness and fullness of life.”-Sri Chinmoy.

Come! Come! My Happiness-Friend,

Do resonate from deep within,

And radiate my sunrise- smile.

O Bird of Joy, O Friend of the Eternal.

Out of Your fiery baptism of celestial Love,

Do banish the pangs of my despondency,

And thrill my heart.

Beloved, I see You dancing

With the children in the Adventure Parks;

Hear You singing with the nightingales,

As myriad spring flowers blossom,

With the joy of Thy Delight.

Radiantly beaming in a valley of golden daffodils,

Who can equal Thy resplendence?

You’re a welcome solace to the bereaved;

Soothe the Spirit of the impoverished,

While bringing comfort to the forlorn life.

Entering the mind of confusion,

You replenish its sparkle of Light,

While in the heart of Your devotee,

You glow in splendour.

Treasured happiess

Sweet Happiness, You arise in adoration,

To the glorious dawn of nature’s rapture;

Immerse Thyself in the effulgence of yon twinkling stars.

You play in the garden of the childlike heart,

And send messages to the horizon.

How I wish to spread Your jewels on the wings of harmony,

And shake Your gem-drops to all sentient beings.

Beloved, cheerfulness is the seed of Thy grandeur.

As You sport and lustre in the eyes of the inspired,

Sorrows diminish, and all weariness evaporates.

O beauty of eons, O rhapsody of the perennial Light,

Come dine with me.

Cascade Your petal-fragrance-smile,

Into the Souls of all You encounter,

To grant us peace.

      Oh, what joy here you have shared, especially to our wonderful poet, Jamie, as I truly love reading his poetry and vast knowledge as to all poetry forms and poets. My favorite poems of his are his of his family, as they do bring a smile to one's face. They are all so precious indeed.

      Thank you for this delightful tribute to a delightful hubber.

      God bless you.

      So glad you like it Nellieanna.

      We are both following each other around. Thank you for your continuous touching and loving sentiments. I will put up Love, Sweet Love in half an hour. In my mind it is a truly beautiful and special one. Quite lofty though. Stay around if you can, but yes, I feel for you. An excellent writer who is restricted? What can I say? Our Lord, in His infinite mercy, knows best. Loving and sincere hugs coming your way. Much peace.

      Sweet DDE,

      How are you? Great smile! I have looked at you again as I sometimes think of you as Indian somehow, but because I see Croatia, I remember.

      Yes, happiness is the inner glow of the Soul radiating in and through the physical, perhaps most visibly in the eyes, face and smile. It is also in the beauty and pulse of the Cosmos and is perhaps best felt in Silence. Much gratitude and much peace.

      Hi Phyllis,

      Just returned from America. I wanted to write or indeed wrote some nice comments to what you had said on another Hub. Got lost, somehow. The spirit is gone, but essentially I really appreciated what you said.

      With gratitude for this kind comment, Phyllis. I really appreciate your poetry too, and most of all, you as a wonderful Spirit. God bless you this day and always.

      Well, I am, Bro.

      Not intentionally, but didn't you say that you usually have to get your dictionary out? (smile) So this helps you, O poet of great promise.

      Good morning in London, dear friend Taiwo. Flew in from NY yesterday. Hungry. Will go out for a bite now. It is a joy to have you as a Friend. I wish you God's peace this day. Hugs.
