Happy Birthday,Crystal !

Updated on April 11, 2013

I’m sitting on floor… wrapped up in blanket,
My fingers like a spider's legs scuttling on the keyboard
Trying to capture a moment
Once enjoyed upon a time so fleeting
Quietness engulfs the street outside
Just the familiar sound of traffic, the curses of drunkards,
The roar of motorbikes
Robust like lions
Invades my thoughts
I must hurry
No time to waste
No time to bleed anymore
On the barren landscape
Stretching out
Forever
The sandman,my nocturnal guest,
Already at the door
Sprinkling sand
A Line or two
With no hard feelings
Concentrated
Would hit home
And let me sleep content at least this night .
Happy Birthday ,Crystal!
How heavy is it now on my lips!

another perfect poem James. I know one day that open wound will become just another scar that itches from time to time. Until then hang in there and know that you always have friend that wish you the best out of life.

@Vellur.Thanks for the visit and comment. In my case,my memories I shared with someone are just chains which immobilizes me.Sorry to say that they should be erased.I want to move and live my life.

      Many blessings to you.

Great poem, happy memories are like treasures in a box. We just have to delve deep and pick one out to keep us going. Voted up.

Thanks Elena for stopping by and commented.I agree they are good times but personally I think they should be erased. If you dwell on them, you would be forever immobilized and stuck.

ps.Now my hair is grown lol

Very touching. In every relationship, I believe there would have been good times, times that you smiled. So, dwell on them. You will find joy and happiness again.

      Beautiful Poem.

Ps. I forgot. Nice to see your photo.

@ Sweet Epistles. Thanks for the visit and comment. It is really an awkward moment to wish for your ex happy birthday. Is it because we are nice or is it because we are stuck where they left us ??I think we should move on and leave everything behind us.We have life ahead of us. personally,I still have things from her .I really dont know why I still keep them.I am sure there will be a time when I get my courage and burn them all and start anew.Anyway, she doesn't deserve my wishes and me thinking of her!!!

Nice one. I felt the same way a week ago, whether to greet or not an ex. Heaviness was lifted up as I simply wrote on my journal a birthday wishes for him instead.

"let me sleep content...." such a very good word to feel for a night.

      God bless your heart.

Such a tender and heartfelt piece. On some level putting our thoughts and wishes into the cosmos is some comfort. Your musical accompaniment is most beautiful.
