Hasty Words Or Seeds Of Fertile Thoughts Unleashed.

Updated on December 25, 2009

Hasty words, or seeds of fertile thoughts unleashed.

Fleet winged
are the hasty thoughts,
that fly un-edited,
over fields of white
and vanish soon enough
over un-remembered horizons....

There are many

dusty stacks of dreams

unrealized that lauguish

in drawers like the flesh

found in morgues

that have no soul.

skeletal poems

without the meat

of the matter to

fattens other minds.

Fertilizer for the

dust mites that will

eventually be the

only ones to devour

such words.

But oh,

the slow budding,
and the blooming of words
that grow and stretch,
across the empty acres
of pounded, ground-up trees
on which the axes of our pens
fall with many slashes,
to create verbal splendour
in shades of black and white

where readers can bask

in the handpicked fruit

of what your bent limbs produce.
