He Fell Down In Love

Updated on April 30, 2012

Pretentious is the feeling, stabbing wounds in the back

Piercing through your heart, ripping through soul

Deceitful is the act, pouring feelings from eyes

Roll down hit the rock, Spatter… the man cries

Trembling, his hands clasped on his chest

He mourned He wept, Torn in disdain

Evil the repayment made in his blood

His blood which spoke of her each thud

Fickle, the expressions tore open scars

Spew out red liked thwarted by bars

Treachery at hand so heart-felt

Left him for dead, on thorns he knelt

Tyranny left thee smothered each moment

Perennial sorrows he shall solely lament

Cruel the hands inflicted so much pain

A specter remained … soul lost , slain

Brutal the carvings in his soft skin

He was unrecognizable, even to his kin

Selfish the thoughts of one dark lady

Shred the selfless being. Painfully unready

Deeper he fell and Lunacy took its turns

The fire eluded, the scar still burns

Pain! Thy heart fell on the bed of nails

For it was love he fell in, he had no sails

You painted from your wonderful brilliant colors of dark and greys the pain and affliction suffered by a man who is lost. His soul bleached by the venom left there by the eve who killed his heart in the process. Your pictures fit the sadness this epic piece it portrays. You are a gifted poet and I admire your work. Bravo, well done Voted up, awesome, beautiful, yet a broken man left in it's path.
