Man in Taqiyah

He Said: “No!” He Said: “Yes!”

He was robed in Kurta; taqiyah;

Beads hanging around his neck.

They said: “Are you a Muslim?”

He said: “No. But the intensity of my Salat,

Reaches the domain of Allah’s Jannah.”

They said: “Are you a Buddhist, then?”

He said: “No. But the sweet chants echoing in my Soul,

Dances to the rhythm of beads,

On the soul-stirring fingers of the Buddha.”

He said: “Jesus wept!”

They said: “Ah! So you are a Christian?”

He said: “No. But I admire His psychic tears,

For the Love of all mankind.”

They said: “We know!” You … are an atheist!”

He said: “Why not another spark of Love,

For there are myriad butterflies,

Glowing in the beauty of my Heart.”

They asked enquiringly: “Are you at all religious?”

He said: “Yes! For is not Religion at the core of life?

Seeress

When the campaign’s over,

We vote or abstain from Politics.

But it invades our kitchen;

Tussles with the very air we breathe.

So too, the grandeur of Love,

Illuminates the very pages of ALL sacred texts,

Permeating our Hearts and minds.

Like the new-born, it shines with the Light of Beauty,

Into the core of the ever-effulgent Consciousness.

Finally, the Seeress said:

“I know! You’re a dreamer of dreams!”

He looked at her in silence and smiled sweetly,

Transmitting a loving energy, deep within his Soul.

~ Awakening The Inner Light ~

The Absolute

"The Absolute came from Delight, lives in Delight and at the end of It's journey's close, returns to Delight. It projects all that we are and see or do not see. There is nothing outside of this birthless and deathless Entity; this perennial Ground in which we live and have our being. All is beautiful and good; necessary ... all that we do not know through lack of wisdom, is only for a matter of a moment. The Beloved is faultless and His plans are ever-transcending and never fails."-Manatita

Manatita, there is a wonderful message here. No matter what we believe, how or if we worship, we are all spiritual beings and should be respected for our souls.

What a beautiful story, illustrating that our labels do not do justice to people who are not limited by membership in a group. “Why not another spark of Love, For there are myriad butterflies, Glowing in the beauty of my Heart.” Happy to have you back.

Wonderful. For some reason it reminded me of my young son. He is not yet an "is". His love is not based on that is or this is. It is still pure and a child of all Mahayana and Christ.

Well, well, my Brother. I'm so touched! What can I say! You and me, bro - dare I say - are like elder brothers in a family. We try to serve our siblings ... the children of our Father God. So many ways!

I must have told you more than four years ago that we are servants. You serve in one way and I another. Perhaps your fruits are mangoes and mines oranges. Who knows? Interior service is a form of self-offering that expands the Heart and is filled with Love ... that deathless quality that we both love so much! Peace!

Every so often, one walks among us, leading a life of love. Those of us who recognize him, and hear his message, are better for it. Thank you for this beautiful reminder to always have my eyes and heart open.
