Healing for a Heart

The skyway lit by a thousand stars

That sang as they shone bright

Your touch kissed away a thousand scars

And filled my dark with light

While breath on breath and touch on touch

And dreams brought dreams to life

Under the stars I felt your touch

My gateway into life

You pulled me close, you held me near

Your words made my heart flutter

Your lips so soft, they kissed a tear

And my body had to shudder

While breath on breath and gaze on gaze

Was love's awaited call

Your fire on my ice now ablaze

Engulfing, surrounding all

You stopped my trembling with your words

Whispered to my longing soul

Though they weren't the first I heard

I felt finally I was whole

While breath on breath and grasp on grasp

And love made beneath the sky

Your body to mine tightly clasped

Your essence drawing nigh

A soft gasp and a gentle moan

We gave in to the feeling

Heaven was, for a moment, home

My heart found gentle healing

While breath on breath and heart in heart

An embrace that lasts forever

The senses awoke to pleasure's start

And ended never, never.

Very lyrical, subtle, emotional love poetry

Thank you Ivona, you best described the style I was aiming for with this piece.
