Hebdo's Heroes

Updated on January 7, 2016

Long live Paris

We are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us,

people don't even matter,

force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight,

as they fly, I lie in the bedroom with the curtains drawn,

nothingness washing over me like a sluggish wave,

I see the world about devastated by evil lunatics,

I need now to be the change to see the evil world dissipate,

those lunatics determined to mercilessly intrude in Paris,

Charlie is not just a fading symbol,

it's a global symbol of freedom of expression.
