This is what a future " Neuro Surgeon " looks like...
This is what a future " Neuro Surgeon " looks like... | Source

Welcome to the wonderful world of " Parenthood "

There was a gurgle, a moan and a groan...

as I arose on this bitter cold morn...

unprepared for a journey in life.....

that for many is loaded with stress and strife....

The questions, the thoughts that go through the mind..

never get answered, not at this time...

As I feel my world is a special place...

and know my time is limited in this warm cozy space...

And when we meet.. there will be a smile...

That will last forever and that’s quite awhile...

You’ll count my fingers and my toes..

Cause that’s a gimme..everyone knows...

Our eyes will meet for the very first time..

And you will sing me a nursery rhyme...

There’s one thing for sure unlike any other...

There’s no love like the love of a mother......

Oh, how very precious is this most delightful poem. How true, there is no love like that of a mother's love.

      Sweet!

Grandma is the best and most wonderful experience~~ It is really different from raising our own children. We can love em up, spoil them hand them back. I think it is a reward for surviving motherhood. JK. It is a special gift that is for certain. God Bless you and this new journey you are about to be on. My Love, Skye

      skye2day...Being " Nann " to my G-C ( their call) has been a very inspiring journey..which I have been on for 22 years..( oldest G-C ).

Two of which has been 24/7 since birth ( 10+8) ...bad for them as spoiling isn't an option.Best part is I get to use all the " trial and error " from raising my own, applied to the G-C = even better kids ! I have always felt when you are a parent the most important thing is NEVER loose your sense of humour..but don't share that with them until they become " apparent " hehe..thanks for stopping by...

......and there's no love like the love of a mother - well how can you beat a line like that. Then again how can you beat a writer like KJ -

This glorious poetic ode reminds me of my best friend - my dear mum and how she lives on inside her cat - 18 year old Little Miss Tiffy.

Sending you 3 big Canadian hugs from Tiffy, Gabriel and Colin at lake erie time canada at 4:53am
