Her Diary of Pain

Updated on June 17, 2011

Educate me of she who wears black

And lips the color of her heart they extract

Her eyes pale with deeply blacked sockets

Emptiness she carries in her back pockets

They say she touched for the last time

She reached the height in love climb

She feared nothing but life itself

She owned death that sat on a shelf

Living was a slow way of dying

As the tears ran red when crying

She wanted to die but really

She was already dead; freely

Fear she met night after night

To lie dead was her only delight

She developed into an infection

He awaits her soon resurrection

She didn’t believe in love and life

Finding emptiness among her strife

She couldn’t imagine happiness; Alone

Within the dirt now blown

Sad piece of poetry, bella. But I voted it up anyway. : ) You at least write in depth, from places others fear to go. You are a great writer...don't let anyone, ever tell you differently!

Your words strike like a sulfur match and reveal momentary light to accent the darkness.

I must agree with some of the others that this is a very dark poem and I hope it helped you to write it. I wish you all the best.

Very striking. This is dark and tainted but beautifully written.

Dim, Being a ray of light for others can be hard when they don't want to see beyond their darkness. I will pray that he passes this difficult time in the mean while keep being the inspiration you are over him, and he will see that there is light at the end of the tunnel good luck and blessings!!
