Her Smile (poem)

Updated on July 29, 2015

Behold oh happy heart her smile yet glows

In dreams once set to wonder at her touch

While wandering mid stars which she would clutch

As she would recreate the scent of rose

There never was a smile which dared so much

To share with us another way to dance

Of possibilities behind a chance

But for a moment we can be as such

A smile returning flowers now enhance

Each adding unique flavor to her style

A simple show her life was all worthwhile

Forever’s lover will fall in her trance

Now as she sleeps what dreams does she beguile

Which calls me off to wander with a smile

The power of a smile strengthens love or friendship between two. Lovely expression of words about something as simple as a smile. Thank you. Mhatter99. Voted up and beautiful. "Sara Smile" is a favorite of mine.

Oh how lovely that was written Martin, even though I did not see a smile in the photo. I voted it up, shared and pinned it.

A wonderful poem of admiration and style. I'm sure some special lady will be encouraged to smile. Way to do it Matt. Very smooth.

This is such a beautiful poem, Martin. I love the song you chose. An oldie goldie for sure. But what's up with Hall's blue eye shadow?!

You must have a pretty impressive collection of love poems by now. I enjoy them all.
