Here, the Human Heart

By Tony DeLorger © 2014

Here, the heart dictates,

not the cold hard logic of reason,

but the intuition and knowledge of internal life,

a soul in growth and a mind of compassion,

always seeking the core of love in all matters.

Fallible we may be,

yet, if we move with a loving purpose,

the wrongs of outcome are laden with gifts, not mistakes,

and love permeates the world in ever-expanding ripples,

affecting even the darkest souls.

No matter what ensues,

what tortuous pain, loss or despair,

we will always have the capacity for love,

that open door that makes us unique,

and far superior even compared to the greatest intellects.

We are not weak, but perhaps simple,

with a soul capable of infinite expansion and miraculous deeds,

if only we would embrace this potential,

and rid ourselves of the greed and thirst for power,

that so taints our true aspirations and self realization.

Here, the human heart awaits a revolution,

a realisation that we are special, unique and hold the key,

to all we even hoped for in this earthly life,

if we would simply stop aspiring to meaningless pursuits,

and nurture our hearts, each soul to rise into glory.

No matter what ensues in physical life,

nothing of real value can be taken away,

and in that we should feel secure,

knowing what potential rest within us,

the one and only pure reality in the cosmos, love.

We cannot lose within us, that which is the core of us: LOVE!

I imagine "darkest souls" as being impermeable by love. I would surely not seek to love a "darkest soul" though my master has told me to. Here is a quicky fix it: "what potential rest within us" (potentials or rests).
