His Signs of Hope

Updated on October 1, 2018

The Lord God means for us to wait, keep our faith, is true,

There are so many doubts to have, on guard for all we do.

Then, suddenly, a stunning sunrise opens our eyes again,

Enriches every heart, do better face the day, as it to begin.

Sometimes we do forget, turn our backs and move alone,

Life then seems more than we can bear, our sins to atone.

Remaining strong, keeping our faith, gets us past a storm,

Each soul may so despair at times, as the dark skies form.

God's signals He does send to us, lets us know He cares,

The beauty sent to build our hope, so we each may cope.

All vibrant colors of the sky, a brilliance of Autumn's leaves,

Does enhance, gives us a chance as to why each believes.

Helps lift spirits, everyone's, as we see the depth of His love,

Reminds us all that He's still there, in His Heaven, up above.

The true beauty of this world we do have, belonging to us all,

Diamonds found in every rough meant for the great and small.

Our Father means for us all to search, to find a happy place,

One where each one feels at home, of lives, we all embrace.

When is time to leave this life, joining Him in a Heavenly one,

Our walk of life to be then complete, as all the years have run.

Our own hopes, the stuff of our faiths, to be a sustaining force,

As every child grows to fruition, follows his own Lord's course.

The seeds of hope are so sprinkled all about, of each to share,

Nourishing rains, sustenance gives, its growth, shows we care.
