Holding Each Other’s Hand (Poem)

Updated on June 5, 2016

We walk and dearly hold each other’s hand

We hold the mem’ries here when we were young

And as we stroll together life’s still grand

We shared in all the things that were to come

And as we pass young lovers once as we

We hold each other closer as they go

Remembering things that they do not foresee

Was for this moment’s richness we did sow

It wasn’t always easy yes it’s true

Life put us through a harsh and daring test

It even took the youth from me and you

So hard at times to truly be our best

Yet still we walk and hold each other’s hand

A dream for other’s love be just as grand

What a touching thought on holding hands. My hubby and I still love to walk hand in hand, even at our senior age!

Beautiful poem , very well expressed!

I can so much relate to it, especially because today is my wedding anniversary and the sentiments expressed in the poem are so true and match .

Thank you for brightening up my special day!
