Honor Thy Father

Fathers

This was written to honor the title Father because it should be held in reverence…It should be a badge of honor no matter who failed to lived up to their obligations…

It doesn’t matter if dad was an irresponsible dad, or a dad who stepped out your life after giving you life…

God used him to bring You here, bring your Siblings here, for Divine Reasons…

It doesn’t matter what your mother said about him, what society said about him, or how he did or did not fulfill all that was expected of him…

On this day we seek to lift our voices to the heavens and hope every Father, those who are still here in the flesh to feel joy in their heart again...

Feel the Love of their children, family, friends again...Feel it from the open and silent tears that have become the daily intake for many of them...

On this day we are not going to talk about faults today, or remember with anger those times of disappointment or abandonment…

Love is here to flex its muscles and remind us that calling out the name of He, who assisted in Your Birth won’t hurt on this day…

Love seeks to dominate and eradicate all the negative thoughts that are kept about Fathers on this day…

It’s not about You today, Mother's today, your Brothers and Sisters today…

It about honoring and remembering those Fathers whether they were the Good, the Bad or the Ugly, because no matter what they did or didn’t do, You did not give birth to yourself.

Reclaim the title, if it belongs to you...

A Child might still be waiting...A Family Too...
