Hope And Tear (poem)

Updated on August 6, 2015

And with each hope a tear was put away

These whispers of another sweet refrain

Of something which a kiss let go astray

To be that moment memories maintain

And where is hope when passions sail though skies

Another idle dream that’s left behind

Another mirror deep inside their cries

Another chance another tear might find

And for this hope a warm place of its own

Where it can watch its purpose to unfold

There share it with a tear once all alone

And when it’s done to smile as it grows old

Another day a tear and hope may meet

I pray a heart like yours will be their seat

This is beautiful, Martin. I love the beauty of hope that you bring to tears.
