With Healing and Loving Thoughts For Mary Craig

This is a Spiritual Poem Expressing Longing For The Ever-present, yet Seemingly Elusive Consciousness.

“If we go deep within, we see that what we call suffering is nothing but an experience. And who is having that experience? God Himself. God is the Doer, God is the action and God is the fruit. – Sri Chinmoy.

“Even in our heart’s suffering-garden, Divinity’s flower-fragrance-joy Will eventually blossom.”- Sri Chinmoy.

My heart is pining for You; my mind tormented.

Day and night; even in the twilight hours,

You dance on the wings of my memories,

Affects the rhythms of my breath.

It’s been so many eons, my Love;

But I still see those birthless garlands,

Anchored in my Heart.

I wish to cascade my rose-tinted dreams,

Into a thousand aromas of Your Delight,

Embracing me in Your realm of grandeur,

So as to lose myself, in this sweet intricate Maze.

Now timeless …timeless…timeless … (read soft, echo-like)

Resonate the moments …

When my Spirit merged in Your Love,

And this Soul flew with a moonlit lustre,

On ridiculously delightful ecstasies.

O Bird of Light! Your mercy, I beseech!

This body burns with a perpetual fire,

Hungry with longing, for its Beloved One…

How I yearn for You, O Lover…, Come!

“Why do you have to think
Of your difficulties
As negative forces?
Just think of them
As opportunities.
Lo, they will increase
Your inner and outer capacities!”-Sri Chinmoy.

My Sweet Surabhi. Thank you for gracing my Hub. You're an awesome poetess yourself, and so I feel honoured that you have visited this Hub. God bless your loving Heart.

Rajan, You're so right. Life can be so trying for most of us! I know that many of us here will wish her a great recovery. Thank you so much for your kind contribution.

Susie, it's gone. I went to it at the Courtyard Hotel near Old Street, last Saturday night. A black girl won. She was totally awesome! Here is a challenge for you. I am going to Poetry Cafe tonight, 22 Betterton Street, 5 mins walk from Covent Garden Station (Piccadilly Line). Come and do a poem for my birthday. You will feel my Love for this. Call me: 07905505373.

No, no. Mary won't want to hear you saying 'how sad.' She will know what you mean, of course. She's not poor but rich in Spirit, even though she will, I'm sure, think of her mortality like all of us. Perhaps it is that very thought that will help her to do well.

Always so good to hear from a fellow Londoner with loving thoughts. Higher blessings.

Note: If you come, I am black, tall, slim-medium built. They call me the Lantern Carrier. Starts at 19:30 hrs, but to perform you should arrive before 19:00hrs. It is a popular event. You can also find them on the net: Poetry Cafe. Peace.

The longing expressed so beautifully. Mary is in our prayers and God willing she will be fine. Like Sri Chinmoy says, difficulties are opportunities. We ought to see them positively.

Woops. I'm late, but hey it's better to be late than never :)

You know, I love this poem, especially the line "Now timeless... timeless... timeless..." There are certain words that echo in the kingdom of our Hearts and yet, they simply remain like silent prayers. God listens to our prayers. Lovely dedication! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Bless you and blessings to Mary Craig as well.

      Hi Rochelle.

Drop me a few lines. Let me know how you're doing. I always appreciate seeing you here. God bless your loving Heart of sweet simplicity and filial devotion. Hari Om!

What a sweet thing to say! Truly, in the Higher realm, we're all brothers and sisters. Some know, some don't. From that standpoint, I don't think Mary is doing too badly. She's as mortal as you and I in some ways, but I feel good knowing that she has taken a brave stance.

Your comment is touching and also healing to me and would be to her, I'm sure. I thank you so much, Ruby. Good night, work course today.

Ages ago ... sometimes spelt aeons. The poem is addressing God from the standpoint that the Soul is in separation/isolation from God, and has been for a very long time, centuries, perhaps. It's expressing a yearning or longing for the Divine; to find its way home. Thank you so much!

No disrespect. It's uncanny. You sometimes comment on my Hubs even before I finish. You're amazingly quick, Swalia.

I think perhaps I post it while correcting, maybe.

Your contribution is always valued, and indeed expresses succinctly, much of the essence of the poem. Our thoughts and prayers to Mary, of course ...hari Om!
