How Much Can We Enjoy In One Day?

Updated on July 9, 2017

There Is No Limit

The day started off slow

No work so I got to sleep late

Waking up so mellow and laid back

Eating a good breakfast

Gets me off to a great start

Playing with our cat Charlotte

Giving her a couple of treats

Patting and kissing her softly

Scratching her head

She jumps down and does a little crisscross under my feet

So content

Boy she loves that

I later checked the mail

We got a thank you card from a friend

How nice

I played around with a camera

Taking pictures of anything cool I see

Walking and taking deep breaths

Not because I have to

Because I want to

No t.v. for me

I have two bologna and cheese sandwiches for lunch

At supper time another bowl of cereal and a yogurt and banana

I have so many thoughts swirling around in my head

I could write a book

I eat a little sliced cucumber and those small tiny peeled carrots

Sitting next to an incredible breeze

After awhile it got a little chilly

I put on a sweatshirt

There is no way I was going to shut the door

Thinking about what I want to do next

I head out in the yard

I am putting a few vegtable plants in the ground

I wait to the last minute

The greenhouses and garden centers

Mark all the plants they have left way down

What a deal

I got six tomato plants for one dollar

Six pepper plants for a dollar

For that price I got a dozen more

I turned over the soil

Digging up all the weeds that pop up out of the blue

Squeeze all the plants in

Not a lot of room

Now the challenge is when they all start to grow

How do I get in there to pick them

With that out of the way

There goes half of my day

The next few hours I trimmed a few trees

Then the rose bush and the weeping cherry

I dug up more weeds around the flower bed

Ooops I think some of those were wild flowers

We also picked up some mulch

I tossed the rich red mulch around the front of the yard

Also on sale two dollars a bag

We had ten bags

Not enough to cover as far as I wanted

Next time I will buy more

It was getting dark

I am almost done

I walked in the house and it was eight thirty

I looked in the mirror and looked outside again

It was pitch black

I hopped in the shower

Exhausted I went down for a nap

Woke up at ten thirty

Decided to read a little on line

I won't stay up too late

It's two A.M. already

Time for bed

Amazing day from start to finish

If I had a wish list

With all the things I like to do

This is the kind of day

I would do again and again

I don't see how I could ever get bored

Exercising and going at my own pace

Thinking and dreaming of what to do next

Jodah When we live our life we can not control every aspect of it or should we try to. As we meet other people are life is constantly changing and so is our future. We make plans and go in a direction that we feel will make us happy. Mistakes are made and if we are smart we will make the necessary changes to make our life even better. Learning and growing in directions we didn't know was possible. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful aspects of life that can be explored and enjoyed. May today bring lovely feelings from simple joys that carry on forever.

Michael-Milec Life is filled with so many interesting and unusual events that happen simultaneously it is hard to choose one direction or the other. Following my belief in love and finding ways to share it gives me the biggest joys in life. Thank you for all your comments and your wonderful thoughts. I have been experiencing some computer issues that have set me back. I will listen to your advice and try to reach a happy medium. May your sleep give you the rest you need to energize your body to do all your body needs to accomplish on the following day. Have a loving day.

(let me try third time, two previous attempts failed)

Appears to me as if you were a hard working clock. I agree with you being happy whatever you do, not ever getting bored, just because you want to. A very healthy perspective on life. At best, my friend do not push your body often to exhausting, please.

Louise Powles It was and little did I know the next days after it were going to get more fulfilling. I have had a lot of computer trouble and it has been one big struggle after another. I am not sure that it was so much my fault more like the times our changing and I am falling behind. Thank you so much for reading and sharing. I am playing follow the leader. I am the person at the end so far behind all I see is a little tiny head. That must be the leader. Have a sweet afternoon.

Sounds good to me. I have a very active brain. As I sit and catch up on things on the PC my brain is also thinking about all the added things that I have to do around the house and I am constantly getting new ideas and checking up on info on Google. My Sid took a run around our rainy garden today and is now presently sleeping and drying off. BTW I have turned an animal blog into a blog supposedly written by Sid. I have added a link perhaps if you like we could consider putting your Charlotte in a post sort of like Sid introducing her. If you would be interested I could send you my email through fan mail here.

CoffeeQueen I am always trying to enjoy my day whatever I do. Some days go on without one hitch. Then there are also times where nothing goes right. I know in time by doing the right thing I will have more days of happiness than sad. In the future I will be happy not mad. Thank you for reading and sharing.Jodah Each day is different for everyone. I wonder why the time goes bye so fast when we are having fun and so slow when we are struggling. I wonder if I could pretend while I am having the greatest days of my life this day is nothing but trouble just so the day will last longer. Thank you for reading and adding to my fun.
