How to Accept Change and Learn From the Life of a Bubble Poem
The Changing Life of a Bubble in Transition
Types of Life Transitions
What major life transition are you experiencing at this time?
"My Life as a Bubble"
Confined inside but able to see
A clear view from within
Delicately surrounded by the thinnest shield
So strong but permeable
I hang suspended in rainbows
Bold color shining through a prism
As God's light, hitting on all sides
Perfectly covers my roundness
Driven gracefully by the wind
I'm pushed from one side to the other
As I shift and transform in size
I wait patiently for direction
I thin out and lose my radiance
As I weaken and descend
Gasping for the air that once filled me
I POP! . . . dissipating into nothing
Bouncing up and down
As a floating sphere of liquid
I begin to lack shape and gleam
Fading . . . fading into grey
I ascend the air in spirit
Holding onto every memory
Collected inside the space
Seen through the sheer window of life
Approaching Life's Changes with Courage
The bubble offers us a wonderful metaphor for moving through life transitions.
As she shines with stunning visual beauty and breath-taking properties, the bubble embraces every moment with grace.
Even as she gasps for air, knowing the ends is near, she does it with dignity.
We too, should be so courageous as we approach life's transitions in all areas of our lives.
The bubble teaches us to keep our heads up and look to the sky as change comes.
We can't avoid change, be it loss, death, letting go, moving forward, or moving on.
Life is short, as evidenced by the life of a bubble.
Let us live every bit of it, shining colorfully and brightly, with each breath, as if it were our last.
