How To Change A Chill To A Thrill

Updated on October 22, 2014

What Is That Noise

I am chattering away

Having a good conversation with myself

So deep in thought

Life was never so clear

My wife walked into our bedroom and listened

She is already up and dressed

On with her day

I was in a sound sleep

My body still

The rain is dripping across the window pane

Slowly making it's way

Like a child's squirt gun

Water shooting silently from one direction then another

The leaves keep falling

As if they were feathers being plucked from a chicken

A greyish sky smothers the raw air

The plants in the yard dying or half dead

I summon all my energy just to stretch

Rubbing my eyes and forcing them to open

New thoughts start adding up faster than a bankers calculator

Where anything goes

Every option is expanding our old ways

Transforming us from the inside out

Our blood flows magnificently through every vien

Pumping oxygen to the brain

Giving us more freedom and a deeper pleasure

Seeing the world through cats eyes

That first squint then open wide

Taking on the day with an energy

That any wrestler would envy

Powerful and lifting his opponent high above the mat

Demonstrating to every eye witness

How easily and effortlessly it is done

When your day gets boring and slow

Think of this moment

It will give you all the drive to push your body

Beyond it's limits

Wanting only one thing

To pick up where you left off and get up and go

Gypsy Rose Lee I think if we concentrate on just that moment like it was our only moment and make it so important that nothing else exists or matters. Then after that moment passes I do the same process all over again. I never seem to get bored and I always have lots of excitement to fill each moment. Thank you for reading and reinforcing the good that we see every day.

Harishprasad Most people spend their whole life complaining about what goes wrong in their life. Then when life goes good it is hard to believe. They feel uncomfortable because they got use to believing life is suppose to be hard and problem after problem. I look at life as sweet success. Filled with lovely chocolate morsels and marshmallows and a world of good. Sure I have my bad days. I know it won't be long till I am flying high in the sky and as far as the wind blows. I turn to nature that doesn't complain. Life is what it is. Enjoy!!!! jhamann My life is probably 90% the average day to day routine.5% of my day I forget. It's the other 5% I love so much. It is there hidden way in back. Sometimes on the bottom of a pile. Each day I have to get through all the ordinary to find the extraordinary. Come join me on my search. More the merrier. Thank you both for all your support and friendly advice. You both make me smile and it is 2:23 in the morning.I feel your energy and your friendship. Have a good night sleep and a better morning when you wake up.

Can there be more sweeter than this ? "When your day gets boring and slow. Think of this moment. It will give you all the drive to push your body. Beyond it's limits. " Dream On, your words are really powerful and so insightful. Voted up and shared.

billybuc To often we forget how far we have come and how blessed we are just to be healthy. Everything else is gravy. Sometimes I get greedy and want some extra gravy. I like to smother my turkey and my mashed potatoes too. My imagination never stops and keeps going till I hear Snap, crackle and pop. Oh that was my cereal. I never know what I am going to say next. Thank you for all your insightful comments and direction. I continue to watch your amazing progress. One of my happiest days that I can recall is finding you as a hubber and watching your words explain what other people think. So I spend more time writing than reading trying to bring out my hidden spirit. Practice and more practice gives me a new purpose one I never felt before. A pleasure I have not learned to describe. Thank you for all your support it means more than you will ever know.
