How Writing Changed Me

I learned about making sheep's wool during my stay in South Africa. An interesting process to oversee.

Write with peaceful views

I sometimes sit by the bay overlooking the many boats and write my hubs with such freedom.

Writing makes you feel good!

I enjoy reading and that keeps me in tact with the English language.

The Croatian language is not my first language, I do my best in speaking the foreign language.

I practice writing daily. I focus on what I enjoy at best.

I have learned to be relaxed with my work and enjoy sharing my ideas, and thoughts freely on Hubpages.

In the three years writing for Hubpages I improved on my writing skills.

When I first started writing for Hubpages.

I did not know many hubbers. I did not have much feedback from other writers here.

Staying active allowed an a gap for me to get the feedback I required as a writer.

I noticed the improvement of many hubbers comment on my hubs. I feel happy and with such a friendly community it is getting better.

I learned each day on what I should do to be active, and gain my popularity in writing.

I achieved many goals through my writing experiences.

Thanks to the faithful followers I have I passed many obstacles with their helpful comments.

The many kind comments have made me feel stronger in writing and encouraged me to write more each day.

I took my time and improved on many of my hubs, and thus far have succeeded in writing on line.

Writing is not just about publishing I had learned to edit and re-edit my work before publishing hastily.

I am trying to be a good writer, and sometimes don't see myself that way.

I don't want to profess about my writing but just knowing what writing has done for me that made me want to smile.

Writing has changed my life in so many ways.

I have become happier and know to share my thoughts correctly.

My life has changed in a new foreign country and that is what allowed me to write about my experiences.

I have shared many of my adventures here and have chosen to write of what I know will allow me to feel good again.

In sharing and reading the encouraging comments has made me want to go on writing.

My work entails many experiences through my journey from one country to another.

I have something to look forward to daily and have my happiness.

My great moments don't drift away.

I am still surfing along to make more waves.

Life is never what you want it to be and once you realize that you will see the reality setting in.

I know for a fact that challenges are faced with successes.

If I ignored the challenges I would have not seen my achievements.

I don't pretend all is good when it is not, I would be hurting myself.

I prefer facing up to what is the hardest and I know that would make me the strongest of all.

Writing has brought light to my life.

I feel good about what I do, and enjoy thinking of what to write.

One of the most rewarding parts of my life is writing, and my family life.

I won't give up on writing for a long time.

The few dollars earned is a great surprise to me. It has become a simple way for me to see what made me earn those dollars.

My important moments are my special moments.

Writing is more understandable from other writer's points of views. Not everyone understands what I do online. I don't explain much to others.

I just continue my writing hours online in the hope of a better improvement.

  • When I gained my platform in writing not only did I see my earnings increase. I also saw my comments increase on Hubpages.

I am true to my followers and continue to comment as much as possible.

My writing has made me more of an open-minded person, and my conversations got better with many people.

  • ''What can I surprise my readers with today?''

My readers may need new ideas, or topics, and I have to deliver what I think will make them think more about my writing.

I prefer to deliver what I know best of and the main aim is to make my readers want more of my work.

Writers succeed in writing when they have great feedback.

Sometimes I do feel like I am in a rut with writing. It is not always a free rolling, or penning art of work.

Writing helps me manage my feelings and I go on with great courage from you.

My writing has developed a certain amount of tone and has given me more than I had wished for from this field.

I did not hang on to my expectations of writing. I informed my readers and did not pay much attention.

I had no idea what would come of my work. I saw many smiling moments after a long time writing online.

My gut feeling told me to write and not to stop at my worst times.

I feel I have accomplished a lot more than I had in mind.

  • How did I get that far in writing?

I managed to write daily and show my followers my work is readable and easily understood.

The normal issues of life and relationships are interesting, and in this process I have found my way in writing here.

It is a chance for me to show progress in my hubs.

I feel more appreciated and worthy writing for Hubpages.

I disciplined myself to writing and know I can do better.

  • What makes you want to keep on writing?

  • Has writing changed your life in any way?

  • Are you committed to writing?

  • Do you have recognition in writing?

  • Why do you write?

Most people write to get out what is hurting on their minds.

Keep diaries, or journals and pen down what you feel is hurting, or of what is making you unhappy.

Not everyone wants to keep things bottled up inside.

Do You?

Certain conversations are not for other people's ears. Write down what you think is bothering you and only you will know what is on paper.

Writing out everything you feel is not everybody's choice.

Writing has given me knowledge and has made me see life from many different perspectives.

My communication has improved and if I don't want to write, I can read.

  • What have I learned from writing?

I learned that writing is a way to get rid of many thoughts, good or bad thoughts.

  • Why should I continue to write?

I want to continue writing to keep me happy and less-stressful. My readers have given me an opportunity of positive thoughts to go on writing.

  • Am I addicted to writing?

No. I know when to stop writing and when not to write. I do not miss writing when I am on a break.

When you know when to stop there is no addiction.

I prefer to write on Relationships, Marriages or on How to topics. Also, on most of my personal experiences.

Writing has taken me by surprise and I love what I do.

  • Am I a good writer?

I can't answer this question directly that remains with my readers of what they think of my work.

I am a writer and write in a different way.

I write to please me and look forward to reading all comments.

The comments show lots of value to me.

The many years of writing has shown me great progress.

  • How would my life be without writing?

If I stopped writing I know my life would be difficult.

Writing is life and without writing I won't be able to share my thoughts with anyone.

Information is absorbed by everyone differently.

I will not know when more readers will absorb my words, and react to what I have said, or to what I think and have thought of through my articles.

  • Writing has helped me open up and grow as me.

I found my true way of expressing my feelings and don't expect everyone to do the same.

I write to convey a certain message to my readers. If I don't have the power of writing, my world will not be the same.

You are so right in saying that writing changes us. In my case, I have learned more about the perception(s) of others, not to mention many interesting facts about the world around me... simply from reading. Also, in having chosen to put pen to paper, I've developed a bit more discipline. For example, I've discovered that the Evergreen hub style helps me to be more cognizant of the value of sound research. And then, as you mentioned, there is that sense of community that keeps us going even when times get rough elsewhere.

You've written many truths in this article that all of us can relate to, dear DDE.

It sounds like you have grown a lot through writing. I can relate. Writing does that to a person. You said that Croatian isn't your native language? Did you say what is? I may have missed it.

Lovely hub. It's always neat to see what other writers have gone through and how they have grown and changed.

I like that you share so much of yourself. I cannot even get some of my family members to read my hubs when I send them, so I stopped providing them. I'm not writing for them anyway. Deep down, we all have a message. Let your message continue to pour forth.
