How to Use MangaFox.Com to Read Manga Online

Reading Manga Online

Its often a question of ethics when reading anything online - most of the time books and manga can be found online (along with TV, music, and movies) but the question is of legality. One's sense of justice really goes far in these questions - however using MangaFox.com to read manga online satiates my need to not break rules by blocking off uploaded content that has been licensed This means you can not read licensed materials on this website.

What can you read on MangaFox? Many volumes of hundreds of series that are not yet licensed to see if you like them and want to support them (or just enjoy yourself reading.)

I have used mangafox through different phone applications to be able to read manga anywhere I get bored easily. I do not work for this website or anything, I just want to outline a handy way to read manga at home or on the go.

What is Manga?

For those of you out there that don't even know that manga is, it would be nice to have a short explanation - so here it is. Manga are pretty much Japanese comic books. They are read from right to left, starting from back to front. In digital form it is usually easy to figure it out because they have "previous" and "next" buttons rather than having to remember the right way to turn the pages. Like any comic books, these can be about any subject possible to write about and are just as complex as totally text based books. Many great mangas have been turned into anime - Japanese animation. If you find you don't have the time for reading manga you might want to look into anime.

MangaFox

MangaFox itself is a handy website for reading manga. The home page is dedicated to listing manga by post date, meaning it shows what has recently been put up. Along with this is useful information such as the most current popular manga list and a list of the newest manga to be released. If you are interested in the social side there is a contributor section along with Facebook information.

The Manga Directory is probably a good place to start searching for something that you are interested in (unless you have something in ind already - then by all means search for it). You can search by Alphabetical, Rating, Popularity, Latest Chapters, Genre. and Status such as complete and incomplete. Unfortunately some of the time there are manga listed that have been licensed (and therefore removed). However there is a lot of information listed on the main page of each manga so you can see if it is something you would like to check out at a library or buy online. Since it is so easy to use, you might want to read a few pages of the highest rated manga if you don't know where to start!

Manga Reading Applications

For manga reading applications on the go there are many you can turn to. I personally use Mango manga reader, but most of them are all the same. They generally draw from the same sources to give you manga. MangaFox doesn't seem to have an official application but it is one of the commonly drawn from sources for manga by reader applications. These are all easy to use, if perhaps a bit small.

Good Luck

Manga is such a rich media that has so much to offer. I hope that you find something interesting to read, and are able to have a much better time finding and reading manga with MangaFox and applications that use it as one of their many sources.

I think it depends on the artist's style. Some Mangakas decide to keep their page simple and easy to read while others excite their readers with a variety of page formats. Mangareader.net is also a great site for reading manga. Thank you for sharing!
