English is my passion and love since my childhood.I enjoy reading and writing English so much.To write well, reading is much important.

What are Synonyms & Antonyms

Synonyms are words that have same or similar meanings.

Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings.

Mr Synonym and Mrs Antonym's Role in English Language

English is a great language and it contains loads of vocabulary and grammar to use which makes this language even more richer. There are many things which make English more interesting and flourish it with scents of flowers.Great and very well organised writing is only possible through beautiful and creative words.

All this is called Spicing up your writing which is very necessary to give your project a glorious look. And in order to that, you need Synonyms and Antonyms.

Both words play an important part to spice up your creative writing.

Without using these, your work would look dull and you'd end up using same words again and again. As a result, you would fail to catch up readers' attention as repeating words would leave your written work flat and colourless.

What A Romance

Mr Synonym and Mrs Antonym are like a Romantic Couple, who

dance and dance in the middle of English Garden to fill the air up of Vocabulary

With Romance and diversity

How dashing is Mr Synonym as A Man

Synonyms are the glory of English language. No matter what you're going to write, you need to use Synonyms to flourish your writing.I consider a synonym as a Mr Man because there can't be any beauty without manly power. And a synonym plays a perfect role of a handsome hot man who just freshens up the whole air with his adorable personality.

Synonyms give you a wide range of words which you can use to write an amazing article, a extraordinary hub, an adorable essay, a charming story or a powerful fiction. So you have to hang out with synonyms words to get an awesome result of your project which is not possible without those.

A synonym word with many meanings is able to fill up your writing with many effective similar meaning of words which create a mind blowing look of your project.

Example of Synonyms used in a Sentence

David was an amazing boy. He was such a gifted person that he used to surprise everyone with his stunning nature.

Choosing A perfect Synonym is a Skill

There is much skill involved in choosing a perfect synonym as all don't play a good role.So you must be very careful while choosing a perfect synonym for getting best out of your writing. It's very important to consider the connotation of the word as sometimes synonyms can just create a different meaning from the one intended.

However a good synonym and perfect meaningful word similar to the other one creates a great impact on your reader.Connotation is being very cautious to use exact meaningful synonym as is required according to situation.

For example, one synonym of happy is "carefree", but this synonym gives a bit of negative impact about it's user.Although you can use it in some circumstances but if you are showing that someone is "cheerful" then another synonym such as "delighted" or "pleased" would be more appropriate.

So choosing an exact one is bit tricky job to do.However an excellent choice of synonym is only possible with lots of practice and improved writing skills.

Finding a right synonym according to the situation is an art to learn.

How Sensual is Mrs Antonym as A Wife

Mr Synonym is incomplete without Mrs Antonym. Both are connected together somehow in English language. On one side stands Mr Synonym who enhances the world of Vocabulary with his powerful presence and on the other side is sexy Mrs Antonym who fills the space up with her hot feminine charm.

We need both of them to get a most wonderful look of our work.Mrs Antonym seems more important as she provides opposite meaning to Mr Synonym.Without her, we can't get opposite meaningful words. So if we say English cannot survive without Mrs Antonym, this won't be an exaggeration.

As while writing something, often we get stuck and cannot move forward if we don't know the opposite meaning and here we need an Antonym to fill the space up.

An Antonym is a word that is the opposite meaning of another. It comes from the Greek words "anti" for opposite and "onym" for name.

Example of Antonyms used in a Sentence

When it's cold and wet outside, it is so nice to be warm and dry inside.

Contrasts are very necessary to heat your writing up

Contrasts are another form of Antonyms which help out to make a perfect writing full of similarities and opposites. These words can be used to arise perfect opposite situations for an amazing creative piece of writing. While writing your journal, blog, novel, poetry, prose, romance, suspense, mystery or essay, there are many turning points where you get stuck up with the opposite points where only antonyms can get you out very dramatically and beautifully.

So this Mrs Antonym is available for difficult opposite positions to help you out with and she decorates your writing with her hot and sensuous styles of wording costumes. And you find yourself praising her wonderful presence in English language as without her there won't be any perfect and spicy creation of writing.

Just think for a minute if there would be similarity everywhere, you would get bored so quickly and you would definitely find a way to get some diversity and that's what a contrast does for you.It gives you a different sight of a thing or an action which establishes your interest and makes everything more attentive.

Mrs Antonym is very important in English Vocabulary as it vanishes your boredom into magical fascination.

"Because you don't notice a light without a bit of shadow.

Everything has both dark and light. You have to play with it till

you get it exactly right."

Examples of good contrast using Antonyms

  1. "We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills."

(A paragraph from Winston Churchill's speech)

2. "ROMEO: But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,
That thou her maid art far more fair than she:
Be not her maid, since she is envious;
Her vestal livery is but sick and green
And none but fools do wear it; cast it off."

(Romeo & Juliet by Shakespeare)

I like the concept of shades of meaning. There isn’t always a 100% match for words so it’s key to look at the meaning you want to convey. Thanks for highlighting the importance of antonyms and synonyms in writing.
